Our advisors start by planning Disney and Universal trips, and then often expand their areas of travel expertise from there. Travel Bug advisors are not employees, but rather independent contractors—that means you can set your own hours and the course of your business, with our support and resources.
At Travel Bug, you don’t have to go it alone. We’re proud to foster a true community for our advisors, with monthly team meetings and annual team trips. We’re a travel-loving team of 18+ strong with advisors all over the country—we’d love to bring on other passionate, friendly, like-minded advisors… and we hope that’s YOU!
Our advisors tell us that they appreciate our fair contracts and competitive commission splits—it’s a big part of the reason team members are often able to evolve their roles into full-time careers! We’re committed to transparency and honesty, and we know that our growth only happens when we empower you to succeed.
We know diving into the world of selling travel can be overwhelming—but we’re here to see you succeed. We offer a hands-on onboarding process that helps you build your confidence from the very beginning, then we support your progress with quarterly one-on-one goals calls. You have room to stretch your wings, find your own voice, and refine your travel niche—with an expert team to cheer you on along the way.
That might mean honing your Disney vacation planning expertise or branching out. While our advisors start in the Disney/Universal niche, many go on to also become experts in cruising, all-inclusive resorts, Europe … whatever travel has captured their wanderlust!
We’re looking for advisors who have real park experience—typically, they’ve visited Disney (or Universal!) parks with on-site stays at least three times in the last five years.
You’re the one your friends and family come to for advice on how to make the most of a Disney vacation—we’re not just talking “what’s the best resort?” but nitty-gritty stuff like “what’s the must-try snack at the parks?”—and you LOVE to share your intel.
True, our advisors can get travel discounts, invites to trips to increase their knowledge, and other perks—but that doesn’t come until you meet certain sales thresholds. When you put in the work, the “travel perks” become the sweet cherry on top!
We craft Disney vacations from-scratch for our clients, so it’s really important to get to know them, their needs, and their wishlists, so you can deliver a tailor-made family travel getaway.
—and you have the time to devote to it. On average, our new advisors devote about 20 hours per week to running their businesses, with some eventually growing it into a full-time career.
